Love is sopowerful that even its pale representations on the Earth plane areable to hold souls captive and mesmerized - even those with thestrongest will.In your mythology, wars have been launched on the emotion of love. Countries have crumbled, lives have been lost in the quest for "love."The Essence of Real LoveThese earthly dramas are not founded on the true vibration of love. In fact, love is not an emotion. Love is a universal vibration thatflows freely through open hearts and minds. This vibration is lifeforce in its purest form. It has the power to heal at every level, totransform every being and every thing it touches; it is all-knowing,all-being and all-seeing. It is the creative essence, the realizationof one's self in all others.In the universe, love is a musical note that transcends place andtime. Those who tune out the noise of the world are able to the tuneinto the faint echo of this note and follow it home to the heart ofcreation. This inner home is the essence of Divine love.What Love is Not Love as we have said, is not an emotion. It is not a mentalconstruct. Love never seeks to possess or control. You have probablywitnessed or even experienced love's earthly "representations." Atbest, these are enslaving thoughtforms contrived by the ego as a kindof "alchemy" to harness and possess the minds and hearts of others. Emotions of greed and fear fuel the fires of un-love. Examples arethe femme fatale archetype who professes love for another whilesecretly harboring other agendas, such as financial gain. Anotherexample is a leader who professes love for his country while secretlyextinguishing the lives of his fellow men. Love's `Points of Attraction'There are many distortions and misrepresentations of what love is onthis planet. Each person has their own definition of love. Often thesedefinitions are mental constructs. Real love is rarely found insidethe confines of mental constructs. Love is an energy that permeatesyour world. It exists everywhere in every juncture of time and space.Real love is always available in every particle of your world. Sowhy, you may ask, is it that so many people hunger for love and sufferfrom the lack of it? If a person does not feel they have love, it is because they have notyet learned what it is. Like every other energy in the universe, theenergy of love has access points. You may also think of these as"points of attraction." These access points are places of openness andsurrender. We are not talking about surrendering to the wishes anddesires of others, or the dictates of the collective consciousness. Weare talking about a surrender to the energy of love itself. This isallowing the vibration of love to come into your energy field and tofill you with joy and peace. From this place of joy and peace, you areable to see through conflicts with others. You allow spirit to speakthrough you, bringing the energy of love into any conflict ordisharmony that appears before you. You become a channel for love. Even if you feel your life has been difficult and void of love so thatyou do not truly know what love feels like, you can ask your guides tohelp open you to this energy. You can set your intentions, focus onreal love and in this way, allow your self to be drawn into the Portalof Love. Inside the space, you can commune with the essence of DivineLove and bring it into your energy field, allowing it to permeateevery cell in your body. When you do this, you will begin to attractmore of the vibration of love into your life.By entering the Portal of Love, you create a space inside your selfwhere you grow the vibration and essence of real love.
